Your first useful week with an AI agent.

Start with one job you can explain and one result you can check. The laptop gives your agent a place to work. Telegram gives you a way to talk to it. You supply the context and decide what good work looks like.

1. Get the first conversation working.

During MNM onboarding, we help connect the supported setup and get your agent replying in Telegram. Send a short text and try a voice note. Before taking on a big project, make sure you can comfortably ask for something and receive the reply. Your laptop needs power and a working internet connection to stay available.

2. Tell it what matters to you.

Give your agent enough context to be useful: what you do, what you're working on, how you prefer to communicate, and what it should ask before doing. You can begin with:

“Help me get started. Ask me one question at a time about my work, current projects, and preferences. Keep a short summary for me to review. Ask before sending messages to other people, spending money, or making destructive changes.”

Review what it remembers. Correct assumptions early. A clear written preference is more useful than expecting the agent to infer everything about you.

3. Pick one result you can inspect.

Try turning a voice note into a plan, an estimate into a draft customer quote, or a project list into a workboard. Give it the source material and say what you want back. For example:

“Turn these notes into a plan with the next action for each item. Flag anything you're unsure about. Don't send anything to anyone; show me the draft first.”

For a quote, preserve the original estimate and check the totals. For a plan, check that the next actions are real and useful. A first job should be small enough to review in one sitting.

4. Keep track of unfinished work.

Once that first result is useful, ask for a simple workboard: the goal, next action, person responsible, and anything blocking progress. Update it when circumstances change. You can then work toward a Friday review or another routine, testing the output before relying on a schedule.

5. Repeat what works.

Ask your agent to write down the steps behind a successful job so you can repeat it. Keep important originals and backups. Add access to accounts gradually, and review what new connections allow the agent to do. Check your model-provider and optional tool costs as you use it more.

What to prepare for your MNM call

Have a stable internet connection, power for the laptop, Telegram on your phone, and access to a supported model provider. Bring one thing you'd like help getting started with. You don't need to arrive with a complex automation plan or a choice between OpenClaw and Hermes.

What MNM includes

A prepared refurbished laptop, onboarding software, a 30–60 minute live call, ongoing email help, and the customer Telegram group. The call ends with you messaging your agent and knowing a few useful things to try next. AI-provider and optional tool charges are separate. Extra hands-on remote work through our support partner is paid separately.
